What wonderful and accessible facilities. It is such a pity the European culture is such that a facility would not be funded in the first place …. and even were it in place, it would be either left in a grotty condition (by users and the provider) or vandalised !!!

during my research for an assignment at a local landfill site, to conduct an emergency reponse plan and fire risk assessment.it is interesting to see how severe the issue realy can become. unfamiliar with all the related isseues this has given me some food for thought. i hope that every one involved in reviewing the outcome have come to realise the unimmaginable impact of these sites to the firefighters and the rest that was exposed to the hazards.
